Swim Week

We've had such crazy weather this summer that we've hardly gotten to swim! Yes, it has been too cold on the weekdays in July to swim! We had great swimming weather the last week of June, and we went swimming 6 times in 5 days. We had lots of visitors that week, too, so it didn't get old.

Our first guests were Charlene, her kids, and a couple friends. Lots of kids, but the perfect weather and activity. What a fun day!
We went swimming with Daddy one evening and Wesley was much more willing to learn. He has a life jacket swim suit that keeps him completely above the water, so he learned to doggy paddle all over the pool without feeling scared. He's so proud of himself and wanted me to take his picture in the 5 "inch" deep water.
Melissa and Sabrina came next, and we had a lot of fun, especially with Sabrina. She was nearly 3 months old, so just entering the fun baby stage where she does lots of cute stuff. She did amazingly well in the water! I loved watching my kids try to play with her.
Our last friends to visit were Lydia and kids. We didn't get to swim as long because the weather turned overcast and we were scared away from the pool, but the kids still had a wonderful time. We found out that Olivia won't give up her size 12-month swimsuit, so that's pretty funny!
My kids always want to take a break on the "relaxing chairs".
Cora didn't make it all the way to nap time on the last day of swim week. She fell asleep during story time, and that's really rare! (And really cute!)
